In early April, VPR received notification from the Certification Office for Business Inclusion and Diversity (COBID) that the company earned its Oregon Small Business Enterprise (OSBE) as established in OAR 123-200-1000-2300. The company already holds its ESB (Emerging Small Business) and WBE (Women’s Business Enterprise) certifications.
The certifications involve a vigorous vetting process that reviews financials, contracts, policies and organizational history.
CEO Mary Louse VanNatta, CAE, APR, Fellow PRSA, said, “We are proud to now qualify for public relations and event planning contracts as an Oregon-certified small business. Organizations working with certified businesses can be confident that Oregon’s COBID has thoroughly evaluated every aspect, from finances to staff management.”
