VanNatta Public Relations, a PR, event planning, and consulting firm in Salem, Oregon was honored by the Daily Journal of Commerce as the Best PR & Marketing Firm. The award was announced during a private event held at the Jupiter Hotel’s rooftop bar in Portland, Oregon.
The DJC awards celebrate and recognize the best the community has to offer. Readers picked their favorite companies to work with, in 70 categories. There were nearly 16,000 responses to the survey, which called on DJC readers to vote for their favorite firms and products in the local building industries.
Mary Louise VanNatta, the owner and CEO of the company, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
“It’s an honor to be recognized by our peers and the community at the Daily Journal of Commerce,” she said. “This award is all about our building industry clients who allow us to work with them and help them tell their story.”
Professionals from many firms in the industry attended the event with the top three winners in each category being announced. Over one thousand businesses applied for awards with only fifty winners.
Mary Louise and VanNatta PR have taken home six awards in the past two years, including a PRSA Spotlight award, distinguished service award, and Lifetime achievement award. Most recently, the firm received state-wide attention for their promotional work for the Salem Police Foundation.
