VanNatta PR wins again at Spotlight Award Ceremony
VanNatta Public Relations (VPR), a PR, consulting, and event planning firm in Salem, Oregon, was honored by the Public Relations Society of America Oregon Chapter (PRSA) during their Spotlight Award ceremony for the work with the Salem Police Foundation to fundraise for a mobile command center. This is the sixth PRSA award the firm has won in the past two years.
The Oregon PRSA held its annual event on Nov. 5, 2019, at the Exchange Ballroom in Portland, Oregon. The PRSA’s Spotlight Awards draws hundreds of industry professionals.
VanNatta PR received the award for their promotional work with the Salem Police Foundation (SPF). VPR helped the SPF fundraise to purchase a Mobile Command Center (MCC).
VPR helped the Salem Police Foundation raise funds and obtain grants to cover the cost of the new MCC unit. VPR worked to fundraise through the foundation’s annual Breakfast with the Chief fundraiser as well as traditional media; social media, E-campaigns, news releases, and advertisements. The vehicle was unveiled to stakeholders and public officials in December of 2018 and has been used in multiple investigations already.
