Mary Louise VanNatta named a Woman of Vision
Salem, OR (Oct. 20, 2020) – Mary Louise VanNatta, APR, Fellow PRSA is one of the Daily Journal of Commerce’s Women of Vision award winners for 2020. The annual awards honor women who are shaping the built environment in Oregon and Southwest Washington via leadership, mentoring efforts, community involvement, and industry diversity promotion.
“I grew up around builders and the building industry,” said VanNatta. “My father was the executive director of the Oregon Home Builders Association. He always told me that having a home was the most important first step to family stability.”
VanNatta has worked with various clients in the built industry, including serving as the pro bono PR lead for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Throughout her 30-year career, VanNatta has contributed to PR and advertising campaigns with architects, construction, landscape, development, and real estate businesses. Her company has mentored over 100 interns.
VanNatta and the other honorees will be recognized at a virtual celebration, including a keynote presentation and network. It will take place Oct. 21 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Individual tickets are free; The virtual event is free to attend.
