Salem, OR (Dec. 15, 2021). The Strategic Economic Development Corporation (SEDCOR) held its annual awards luncheon on Dec. 15. VanNatta Public Relations (VPR) received the Community Service Award.
Rich Duncan, president of Rich Duncan Construction, presented the honor. He said, “We’ve seen this business step up to help with media, public relations, communication, and event planning, and even website development for the Santiam Rebuild Coalition – they really to it all, and for that, we are grateful to have them in the region.”
Mary Louise VanNatta, CEO of VPR, accepted the recognition. “SEDCOR has been an important organization for our company and our family.” VanNatta’s father, Fred VanNatta, served as one of the organization’s first presidents and executive directors. “When a region has economic prosperity, people have jobs. When they have jobs, they can provide for their families, even buy a house, and give stability to their children. That’s what SEDCOR does.”
